This policy explains how Vivaan Compliance & Tax Services LLP ("we", "us"), which operates MarriageRegistrationWala.com, processes your personal data as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").

1. Data we collect

• Contact details: name, phone number, email, city and messages you send through our website, WhatsApp, phone or email.
• Documents needed for your application: identity, age and address proof (such as Aadhaar, passport, voter ID), marital-status documents, affidavits, wedding invitation or ceremony proof, and witness details.
• Photographs of you and your partner, and of the ceremony, where required by the authority.
• For NRI / foreign-national cases: passport, visa / OCI and embassy documents.

2. Purpose

We use your data only to respond to your enquiry, assess the correct legal route, prepare and file your marriage registration or notice with the competent government authority, book appointments, and update you on progress. We do not sell your data or use your documents for marketing.

3. Consent

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you contact us or share documents. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us; this will not affect processing already carried out, but we may be unable to continue your application.

4. Sharing

Your documents are shared only with the government department or registering authority handling your application, and with service providers (such as secure storage or communication tools) strictly as needed to deliver our service. We may disclose data where required by law.

5. Storage and security

We take reasonable security safeguards to protect your data, including restricted access to authorised staff and secure storage. Documents shared over WhatsApp or email are transferred to our records and handled with the same care.

6. Retention

We keep your documents only for as long as needed to complete your application and any follow-up (for example, certificate collection or corrections), and thereafter only as long as required by law or for legitimate record-keeping. After that, they are deleted.

7. Your rights

• Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction, completion or updating of your data.
• Erasure of your data on request, unless retention is required by law.
• Grievance redressal, and nomination of another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.

8. Deletion on request

To have your documents and data deleted, email info@marriageregistrationwala.com or WhatsApp +91 85958 81212 with your name and phone number. We will confirm once deletion is complete.

9. Grievances

Contact our grievance officer at info@marriageregistrationwala.com, or write to Vivaan Compliance & Tax Services LLP, D-76, Ground Floor, Kamla Nagar, Delhi – 110007. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Google Analytics and cookies

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand anonymous usage data such as pages visited, general device and browser information, and interactions with our service pages, pricing, contact buttons and registration guide. This helps us improve the website. We do not send your name, phone number, email address, enquiry message or identity documents to Google Analytics.

Google Analytics is loaded only after you select Accept on our analytics cookie banner. If you decline, analytics does not load. Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation remain disabled. Google processes usage data on our behalf; analytics cookies can distinguish visits without identifying you by name.

Your choice is stored in your browser. To withdraw consent or change your choice at any time, select Cookie settings in the footer and then Decline. This stops further analytics events and removes accessible first-party analytics cookies. Withdrawal does not undo processing already carried out. You can also clear cookies and local website data using your browser settings.
